Tom Monaghan as the action hero this week was inspiring. I sometimes think what it would be like to have a business that makes it big and then have all the luxuries in the world. I think I’m a little like Tom in the fact that I myself chose to make my life different and for a purpose other than myself. But I wonder what I would do if as time goes on my wealth became greater than my purpose. I have a mission statement that I use to define myself and what I want to be. My purpose, as I have chosen, is to serve others. I have goals that surround that initiative and I have worked out steps in my life so that I can always be reminded to serve. So if that time ever comes that I make more than I need I think I have placed in my path triggers and reminders to do what is right and work for those who have needs greater than my own.
